Our campaign – Save The Wellington Rugby Sevens

This campaign is plainly saying “forget it” to the powers behind the NZI Wellington Rugby Sevens, when they start to believe that one of the most success annual events in the rugby world should be dismantled.

Why would they even begin the think about it when in reality they should be counting their lucky stars that Wellington can host an event with this much obvious success? Imagine if the rugby bosses were directed to a meeting of Wellingtonians to make their tender to continue holding their rugby event in our city?

Wellington’s NZI Rugby Sevens is part of an international rugby circuit that tours the world under the eye of the International Rugby Board (IRB). No other leg of the tour is as popular with the players and spectators.
