Roger Sutton

Chief Executive of Canterbury Earthquake Recovery Authority (CERA)

Roger Sutton is the Chief Executive of the Canterbury Earthquake Recovery Authority (CERA) taking up this position in June 2011.

Previously Mr Sutton was the Chief Executive Officer of Orion New Zealand Limited, a position he held for eight years. He was also Chairman of the Energy Efficiency Conservation Authority.

He has been closely involved in the reforms of the New Zealand electricity industry, and has served on boards and working groups in a number of energy related organisations and businesses.

Mr Sutton has a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) from the University of Canterbury (1986).
