The Haiti Hospital Appeal in New Zealand.

This web page tells you about the Haiti Hospital Appeal, and what is happening in New Zealand to support the charity in it's valuable work since 2006, near Cap-Haitien, on Haiti's north coast.

George Lamb will be going there soon. Before leaving, he's organising 2 events that will raise money as well as increase the profile of Haiti in Wellington, and what we can do to help. Time has moved on since the earthquake, but it may take more than a decade to clear up after the earthquake of January 2010 which so devastated a country already struggling with poverty, illness and corruption. This web page is a call for Wellington to get behind Haiti and tell them "We have not forgotten you, we're with you – Kenbe La – 'Never Give Up' "

I'm also seeking to promote and support other Kiwi organisations and people engaged in work in Haiti – there are more people than you may think who have been there and have unique stories to tell of challenges, but also rewards of serving in such a challenging environment.
