A full day course for Directors and Trustees of Boards, Senior Managers, Shareholders and Stakeholders and others who want to know more about how Boards can operate more effectively.
Course Overview
Effective governance is about having control, capital and management talent that provides the capability of the organisation to create stakeholder value. Such Boards of Trustees aim to optimise an entity’s potential through seeking ways to enhance the performance in the boardroom and throughout the organisation.
The aim of this course is to outline the accountability and transparency required of boards and provides those attending with a sound understanding of governance, understanding the accountability that goes with accepting a Trusteeships and how measuring performance differs in context and content from management.

Board Directors and Trustees seek ways to improve governance performance by:

Course Format
Working with up to 20 attendees the two facilitators will provide case studies for groups to analyse and identify trends that lead to business demise. The sharing of methodologies for various performance assessments through illustrating an auditing process will illustrate the importance of undertaking board assessments across a range of activities.
