Making Your Board a Team
A half day course for current Board/Trustee member, Chairs of Boards and Trustees and anyone seeking a trusteeship or directorship.
Course Overview
The collegiate make-up of Boards and its emphasis on solidarity can create an awkward dynamic for questioning management and strategy. Given that Boards are groups of people with a diverse mix of skills, experience, backgrounds and comprehension of the business, members of Boards have to work together to create a healthy environment where debate is open and deliberate yet managed.

- Better appreciate the need to ensure there is a balance of abilities on a board.
- Understand the importance of rotating director/trusteeships

Course Format
Case studies, role playing and interactive discussion will allow up to 20 attendees to consider and analyse the various aspects to building a dynamic and forward looking team
